November SOTM Blog Hop

It’s time for the November Stamp of the Month Blog Hop featuring the Close To My Heart stamp set “Around the Block”. Following along is simple to do - just click on the link at the end of the post on each blog to move to the next one!

I thought this month’s stamp set was perfect for a cover of a “Neighborhood Recipe Album” I’ve been wanting to create. I love collecting recipes and it seems I never come home from a get together or function without a recipe or two in hand! Those are always the best recipes too because people like to bring their favorite dish and they are usually flattered and ready to share the recipe. Now I have an album to house my favorite recipes gleaned from neighbors over the years!

Below are pictures of my album and the supplies I used.

Inside Recipe Pages
Note:  The outside edge of the recipe pages are not adhered to the page in the book so that additional instructions could be inserted or tags with photos/info about the person the recipe came from.

Supplies:
Stamp Sets: Around the Block & Recipe Box
Papers: Grace Paper Packet
Inks: Archival Black, Olive, Twilight, & Cocoa
Embellishments: Bookplate Dimensional Element, Foundry Metal Bookplate, Cocoa Grograin Ribbon, gold brad
Other: 1” black Bind-it All Coil Binding, chipboard for front & back covers

Next on the hop is Amy’s blog so hop on over there now to see her artwork!

If you get lost on the hop or find links that aren't working, click {here} to head back to Jena’s blog for a complete list of participating blogs.
